A selection of scenes I worked on from Star Trek: Resurgence.


These scenes used Beanie, Dramatic Labs’ in-house scripting tool for branching narrative games, as their foundation for dialogue and gameplay flow. I created cutscenes in Unreal using character blueprints and the sequencer which interfaced with Beanie.


I was responsible for:

  • Timing the dialogue and editing the whole scene in each video.

  • Hand placing and animating every camera shot you see.

  • Blocking actors and using modular animations to pose and move them within shots.

  • Animating faces using a mix of Dramatic Lab’s proprietary mood system and facial animations.


I used Beanie myself to wire up the shuttlebay sequence and Carter running through the firefight.
